Carbon towers are utilised for separating oil vapours from compressed air for automotive, electronics, food and beverage, chemical, petrochemical, plastics, paint, and general industrial applications.
The PneuTech activated carbon towers are designed to separate oil vapours from compressed air (dry type separation). The TAC series for low to high pressure are made from high quality carbon steel, while the smaller TACm is a replaceable cartridge on a robust stand.
Flow distributors ensure uniform distribution of air flow through an activated carbon bed. Oil vapours as well as some other hydrocarbons are separated during the adsorption process.
A super-fine coalescing filter is required upstream of the TAC and 1:m dust filter is recommended downstream to intercept activated carbon dust.
Available for 16 bar, 50 bar, 100 bar, 250 bar, 420 bar pressure requirements.
