Nitropak Generator for RESWAX 

When RESWAX was looking for a reliable nitrogen gas supply, comprehensive studies revealed that an on-site and company-owned nitrogen generator would fulfil their needs. With the Nitropak, they would not only have guaranteed onsite supply 24/7 but it would also be 4-5 times lower cost. 

RESWAX is a startup company based in Northland, specialising in Kauri wax and resin extraction. Developing optimal and economic processes to extract wax and resin from the ground, their approach involves a closed loop system reinstating post extraction resources back into farmland. RESWAX have also developed refining technology to process high value waxes and resins from the extracts, selling to niche international markets. 

The main challenges we faced in this project included designing a nitrogen generation system that met the unique requirements.

RESWAX required a mixture of continuous low-volume and intermittent high-volume gas demands. Additionally, they needed 24/7 onsite reliability in a remote Far Northland location.

Additional obstacles included a tight one-month deadline for design, build, and commissioning, the need for a cost-effective solution to fit RESWAX's limited budget. As a developing startup, RESWAX also had limited capital budget.

The new system now provides a reliable N2 gas supply that is not subject to transportation risks or delays. This is now supplied at less than 25% of the cost of the corporate supply option, saving thousands of dollars every month. 

The Nitropak was successfully commissioned on site, suppling a reliable and pure supply of Nitrogen at a fraction of the previous supply costs. Altogether, the project has proven to be huge success on all counts.
